MY DESIGN JOURNEY

The start of it all -Original aerial inspired 2012

GOLDEN Molding Laying the Base

Rachel Ellen articulates each custom piece by using Golden acrylic molding mediums to build rich texture and depth in my work, creating sculptural surfaces that catch light and shadow. My background in 25 years of hair coloring deeply influences my painting style—layering, blending, and applying color with an intuitive, hands-on approach. The same tools and techniques I mastered in the salon—like controlled movement, fluid transitions, and dynamic contrast—now guide my brush and palette knife, transforming each canvas into a vibrant, tactile experience
